Virtual Sports Guide
What Are Virtual Sports & Why ibc22 Is the Best Choice
Many people hearing about Virtual Sports for the first time wonder — is this like a video game, or does it involve real competition? The short answer: Virtual Sports are computer-generated sports simulations powered by fair and randomised algorithms, not controlled by any human. Results cannot be manipulated, and every match is unique — just like a real sporting event, only faster and available at any time without waiting for a scheduled fixture.
At ibc22, the Virtual Sports section covers two main segments: Virtual Sports, which simulates physical sports such as football, horse racing, motorsport and tennis in a realistic computer-generated environment; and Esports, which covers real professional video game competitions — including Mobile Legends, DOTA 2 and CS2 — played by human competitors in official leagues and tournaments. Both offer distinct betting experiences and are equally exciting for digital sports fans in Malaysia.
What makes Virtual Sports so popular among ibc22 players is the freedom from fixed schedules. You don't have to wait for the weekend to watch Liga Super Malaysia, or stay up past midnight for the EPL. With Virtual Football on ibc22, a new match kicks off every 3 minutes, around the clock — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with no breaks. That means you can place a bet during your lunch hour, on the LRT ride home, or whenever it suits you.
Esports — A Fast-Growing New Industry in Malaysia
Esports is no longer just a hobby for students — it has grown into a multi-billion MYR industry worldwide, and Malaysia is very much part of it. Malaysian esports teams are already representing the country on the international stage in games like Mobile Legends and DOTA 2, and public interest in local esports competitions continues to grow year on year.
Ibc22 recognised this trend early and now offers the most complete esports coverage for the Malaysian market. For Mobile Legends fans in particular, we provide odds for MPL Malaysia — the country's most prestigious Mobile Legends league — with live betting available throughout every match. That means you can follow your favourite team and place your bets at the same time, right here on ibc22.
It is important to understand that esports is a legitimate, recognised industry. Major esports events like The International for DOTA 2 carry prize pools exceeding USD 40 million — larger than many traditional sports tournaments. Professional esports players train 8–12 hours a day and their match results are just as unpredictable as any conventional sport. At ibc22, esports betting is managed to the same standards as real sports betting.
Virtual Sports & E-Sports Betting Tips at ibc22
For Virtual Sports on ibc22, the best approach is to treat it just like betting on real sports — focus on odds value and sound bankroll management. Since Virtual Sports results are randomly generated, there are no "patterns" to exploit. Stick to markets you understand best and keep your stake per match in check so the experience stays enjoyable without eating into your overall balance.
For e-sports, knowledge of teams and players is key. Unlike Virtual Sports, real e-sports results involve human teams whose performance can be analysed. A team's win-loss record, performance on specific maps, player composition, and head-to-head history are all factors that can help you make more informed betting decisions at ibc22. If you follow MPL Malaysia consistently, your in-depth knowledge of local teams is a significant advantage.
One thing many players overlook: for esports titles like MLBB or DOTA 2, game patches and updates can completely shift the meta and alter the strength of certain teams. Teams that have mastered the dominant heroes or strategies in the current patch tend to have a clear edge — this kind of insight is what separates smart bettors from those placing random wagers at ibc22.
